Travel Recommendations

Before coming to Japan

* If you plan on traveling throughout Japan, you can save a lot of money by purchasing a JAPAN RAIL PASS in your home country. Please visit this website for more information: http://www.japanrailpass.net/en/index.html

* It is relatively difficult to gain access to public wifi networks in Japan. If you would like to have wifi throughout your trip, you can rent a portable wifi system (pocket wifi). There are many different types, however most offer airport and/or hotel pickups. Alternatively, there are also data SIM cards available for purchase at airports and large electronics stores.

* The beginning of November in Tokyo is the middle of autumn. The temperature fluctuates between 16°C and 8°C (60°F and 47°F), so please pack accordingly.

Sightseeing in Tokyo

* There are too many interesting placing in Tokyo to list them all here. However, if you would like some ideas for what to do on the day of the concert, some recommendations are written below.

Odaiba is very close to Toyosu PIT, the concert venue. You can access it by using the Yurikamome Line (from Shin-Toyosu Station). There are various different shopping malls, exhibition areas and museums. You can see the giant Gundam, the Fuji TV building as well as the Rainbow Bridge, among other things. At night, it's a relaxing place to watch the water and the buildings on the other side of the bay. Although, keep in mind it might be a bit cold. There are also plenty of restaurants, if you would like to eat lunch or dinner.
・The Marunouchi area is full of shops and restaurants. The Yurakucho Station is nearby, so it will be easy to travel to and from Toyosu PIT. You are bound to find something you would like to eat or see wandering around the Marunouchi area. Although, due to the large variety of places, it might be easier to search online for places or things to see there.
・The Imperial Palace and Hibiya Park are next to the Marunouchi area. Both the Imperial Palace and the park might be a good way to spend some time before traveling to the live concert later in the day.
